Eimers-Guitars developed model EG-670 after many requests from Selmer acoustic guitar players. Obviously there was  a strong wish for an archtop guitar based on the Selmer design. Eimers-Guitars developed a 17" archtop guitar with many Selmer style features and most importantly, the 67 cm scale length liked used on Selmer guitars. This resulted in a archtop jazz guitar with the same 'feel' as on a Selmer style acoustic guitar. The guitar is completely hand crafted. The top and back are hand carved and are made of solid European spruce and solid flamed Maple, respectively. The 3 piece neck is made of flamed Maple.
